Job Requirement Position: Senior treasury/ accountant positionLibyan nationality Job description summary Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant: Custodian of bank mandates and bank authorities Responsible for all banks and treasury activities Petty cash, Supervision and operating Accounting operations for any of the two affiliates as required by the chief accountant. 1. Education and Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a master’s degree in finance or a Certified Treasury Professional. – Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to treasury operations – Knowledge of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and all financial functions – Familiarity with treasury systems and financial ERP software, SAP experience will be a plus. 2.Experience: – Relevant work experience in treasury, finance, or related roles is highly valued. The required experience is at least 3 to 5 years or more with preference for candidates with a work experience in oil Sector and /or international companies under IFRS standards. – Very good knowledge of local banking sector and familiar with international practice to maintain good relationship with local and international bank. – Experience in cash management, liquidity planning, investments, debt management, foreign exchange, or risk management is beneficial. – Tasks segregation & delegation of authorities process knowledge *Financial Reporting*: Familiarity with financial reporting IFRS standards and requirements, including the preparation of treasury-related reports for management, auditors Communication and Interpersonal Skills: – Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal stakeholders aa well as external parties (Banks and Head Quarter Treasury Division). – Strong level of English (above 3/5 oral and written) Adaptability and Flexibility: – Good stress resistance, able to work under pressure and out of normal working hours if needed. – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to handle changing priorities, deadlines, and evolving business needs.
