We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, completing bookkeeping entries, and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements according to IFRS guidelines.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Complete bookkeeping entries, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking.Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and discrepancies.Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and IFRS standards.Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.Perform periodic audits to verify accuracy and integrity of financial records.Prepare and submit tax documents, including VAT returns and income tax filings.Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their application.Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.Understand English and Arabic Salary 3,000 LYD Contact information To apply for this job send your CV to   Location 24 th December st. , Tripoli, Libya
