Wintershall Libya invites applications (Libyan Nationals) for the post of Reservoir Engineer/ location JV offices Tripoli. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYThis is a demanding and challenging position in which the Reservoir Engineer would need to meet all expectations required in supporting reservoir management of the existing oilfield and/or new finds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for obligations resulting from company HSE guidelines within working area.Work in a multidisciplinary team with the target to optimize the production/recovery from existing oilfields and/or to mature new finds into a field development.May represent company in technical contacts with NOC, partners and contractors.May participate and present in Technical Committee Meetings.Responsible for budget and cost control for specific, smaller projects within working area. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Degree in Reservoir Engineering and knowledge of the following skill areas: Reservoir Characterization (OH logging, coring, special core analysis, etc.)Fluid Characterization (fluid sampling, analysis, equations of state, etc.)Well Reservoir Engineering (CH logging, well testing, stimulation, artificial lift etc.)Reservoir Engineering (reservoir description, fluid dynamics, reservoir simulation, production forecasting, reserves estimation, improved/enhanced oil recovery etc.)Reservoir Management (production/recovery optimization, field development, etc.)Competent in computer applications (reservoir simulation software).Developed presentation and communication skills.Fluent in English Experience; Minimum 10 years’ Experience in E& P business or related jobs How To ApplyTo apply for this position please send your resume in English   Please note that you should state the position you are applying for in the subject line of your .
