Urgent Hiring: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Pre/Post Contracts) – Oman Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Pre and Post Contracts for a diverse range of projects, including buildings, roads, and infrastructure. Candidates currently available in Oman are preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities: Pre-Contract: Analyze tender documents and clarify tender queries. Prepare and evaluate bills of quantities and obtain competitive quotations. Develop cost estimates and prepare competitive submissions. Handle post-tender clarifications efficiently. Post-Contract: Manage variations and claims, ensuring accurate costing and timely submissions. Monitor project progress and track expenditures. Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Prepare monthly bills, final accounts, and financial reports. Support contract administration and procurement processes. Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 5 to 8 years of experience, including 3 years in Oman. Proven success across buildings, road, and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in PlanSwift and iTWO costX is mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera is an advantage. .
