Home Nurse needed to care for bedridden elderly woman. Job Description: PRIVATE HOME NURSE. Need a highly trained female nurse who is able to care for a bedridden elderly woman. Nurse must have some medical background and/or training (with proof) and be able to follow instructions and a set schedule. Nurse will have additional help with carrying and moving, but will be expected to log feed, water and medications independently, as well as calculate water input and output. Nurse will be trained on arrival, but will be expected to know how to independently carry out the tasks within 1 week. Nurse is expected to have good communication skills and able to work independently. Job requirements: - experience with bedridden elderly (know how to change, change position, use feeding tube). - follow a medication and feeding schedule. - sponge baths 3 times a week. - keeping the bedroom clean and tidy. - linen and sheet changes. - food preparation and recording quantities given. - administer medication. - feed through gastral tube. - carrying to and from bed (approx 90 kg) -maintain a detailed log of medications and feedings. Benefits: - 250 OMR salary. - On site private bedroom, bathroom and kitchennette. - Stipend for visa and tickets (for candidates abroad) - Medical insurance (for candidates abroad) - water, electricity, groceries and personal items included. - will be working with other staff members. - 12 hour shifts (morning or evening) in conjunction with another staff member.
