Job DescriptionHope Charity is a civil society organization which offers activities for women in difficult circumstances in Tripoli. For an evaluation of our activities in our training center, we are looking for a data collection specialist to support the organization with collecting and analyzing data. The data collection specialist will have the following tasks and responsibilities: – Finalize an inception report based on a draft provided to the data collection expert; – 34 days data collection in the field (Tripoli); – 34 days data analysis and report writing; – Submitting a final report in English no later than 19 th December 2023 – Total no more than 10 working days; – Continuous communication with the contracting part Job RequirementsThe data collection specialist must meet the following requirements: – Ability to come to the training center in Tripoli for data collection – Availability for communication for ca. 16 days in the period 16.11.-19.12.2023, thereof 34 days data collection on the ground in Tripoli – Language skills: Arabic native, fluent in English – Experience in data collection and data analysis, in the context of project evaluations – Sound knowledge of methods and tools of data collection (qualitative and quantitative, including focus group discussions, interviews and surveys, etc.) – Expertise in the field of women’s rights and protection, and in the civil society sector – Sound knowledge and experience in writing high quality reports – Reliable, transparent, punctual, organized, confidential, committed to delivering on time – Payment to a bank account must be possible.
