Job Description: Strategic Operations and Business Development Manager Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Operations and Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on the financial, operational, and strategic leadership required to drive our company’s growth and enhance our position within the travel industry. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective operations, building industry rapport, driving business expansion, and optimizing financial performance. Stage 1: Initial Integration and Training 1. Induction Training: - You will undergo a comprehensive induction program designed to familiarize you with all managerial tasks and responsibilities within the company. 2. Financial Exposure: - Receive an introduction to the financial operations of the company, including basic training on financial issues and analysis pertinent to our business. 3. Team Engagement: - Engage with the existing team to understand the dynamics and develop strategies for building a high-performing team across all levels. 4. Monitoring and Oversight: - Oversee daily work routines and business activities, ensuring smooth operations and identifying areas for improvement. Stage 2: Industry Engagement and Financial Integration 1. Building Industry Rapport: - Establish and nurture strong relationships within the travel industry to enhance our market presence and credibility. 2. Enhanced Financial Engagement: - Deepen your involvement with the finance team to facilitate informed decision-making that benefits all aspects of the business. 3. Business Development Initiatives: - Commence the process of acquiring new corporate business, ensuring optimal handling and results from these new relationships. Stage 3: Strategic Planning and Leadership 1. Business Model Expansion: - Design and plan for the expansion and development of new business models, including incoming tourism, event planning, and large-scale holiday offerings. 2. Leadership and Strategy Meetings: - Conduct weekly and monthly leadership meetings to present the company’s financial and commercial status and discuss strategic issues. Key Responsibilities and Expectations 1. Strategic Vision: - Contribute to the formulation and execution of the company’s strategic vision, particularly in relation to new market opportunities and business models. 2.
