Looking for Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanical supervisor for company in OMAN ( Oil & Gas ) 1. Performs difficult and highly complex skilled mechanic duties involving repairs to diesel powered automotive, heavy and light construction Equipment. Cranes , forklift , trucks , pickups 2. Provides work direction and instructs staff in work procedures and safe work methods. 3. Inspects, diagnoses and locates mechanical difficulties on City automobiles, trucks, and diesel-powered construction equipment. 4. Diagnoses and troubleshoots operating problems. 5. Provides technical assistance to other employees on difficult and complex problems. 6. Monitors current technology in the equipment repair field. 7. Maintain maintenance records of equipment and trucks. 9. Inspects, diagnoses and locates mechanical difficulties. 10. Estimates time, materials, and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as required. 11. Performs safety inspections on all vehicles; ensure all repairs have been completed before vehicle is mobilized with check list. 12. Performs related duties and responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES Minimum requirements as a condition of hire: Experience: Ten years GCC experience of light and heavy equipment maintenance and repair experience. Training: High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by specialized training in diesel or gasoline mechanics or a related field. Should be able to use computer to keep computerized records as a control document Knowledge of: Operations, services and activities of a comprehensive equipment maintenance and repair program. Operational characteristics of light and heavy automotive and construction equipment. Operational characteristics of various equipment and tools used in the overhaul, repair and adjustment of diesel powered equipment. Operations and care of internal combustion, Procedures of preventive maintenance related to automotive, heavy and light construction equipment. Methods and techniques of performing diagnostic and troubleshooting services. Occupational hazards and standard safety practices. Principles and procedures of hydraulic systems. State laws regulating emission controls, brakes Ability to: Independently perform difficult mechanic work including diagnosing, trouble¬shooting and repairing the full range of vehicles, equipment and components. Workshop location: jafnayn industrial area Salary Ro: 300/= to be discussed based on experienced. Accommodation and food allowance to be provided at company base in jafnayn industrial area. No family status to be provided. Visa will be provided with 3 months probation period.
