Auto Mechanic Job Description: 1. To effectively & efficiently use the tools and materials provided without waste. 2. Must be able to work on any time type of vehicle including luxury and commercial vehicles. 3. To be able to apply to perform up to specification of the vehicle the following types of mechanical Jobs:  To conduct the basic 29 point maintenance inspection check: 1. Engine Oil 2. Gear (Transmission Fluid) 3. Clutch Fluid 4. Brake Fluid 5. Power Steering Fluid 6. Differential Fluid 7. Brake Pads 8. Brake Discs 9. Radiator hoses 10. Radiator Cap 11. Coolant 12. Windshield Washer Fluid 13. Oil Filter 14. Air Filter 15. Battery water & Terminal 16. Fan Belt 17. Engine Belt 18. Air Compressor Belt 19. Lights 20. Tire Tread 21. Tire Pressure 22. Wiper Blades 23. Lower Arm Bushings 24. Engine Mountings 25. Tie Rod End Bushings 26. Shock Absorbers 27. Inner & Outer Axels 28. Steering Box Assembly 29. Exhaust and Silencer Assembly 4. Must be able to conduct Engine and Gear box overhauling and installation for automatic and manual transmission vehicles. 5. Must be able to work on diesel engine vehicles including commercial vehicles and to understand the maintenance and repair of the injector pump and turbo assembly. 6. Must be able to conduct On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) or Vehicle Diagnostic troubleshooting to locate and repair/rectify any computerized/electronic parts related to the vehicles on board computer systems up to the vehicle specifications. 7. To be able to maintain and arrange the work space, tools, and special mechanical tools and reusable vehicle parts for a clean and safe environment. 8. Must possess an artistic vision or mind to produce high quality finish. 9. Must have the durability and speed to finish any given assignments on a set completion deadlines. 10. Must be able to work under pressure and in a team environment. 11. Must be willing to work overtime and on holidays, when necessary, to meet completions deadlines. AUTO DENTER 1. Complete any additional Fabrication, Modifications work in agreed timescales to ensure client satisfaction 2. Repairs damage to metal body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle panels 3. Straighten damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment 4. Inform Supervisor for any additional work required other than as mentioned on the job card based on the condition of the fleet 5. Repairing structural damage by realigning car chassis and frames. 6. Hammering out minor body damage including dents and dimples. 7. Welding, attaching and fitting parts into place. 8 .Filing, grinding, sanding and smoothening filled or repaired surfaces.
